Superyacht Refits is a Booming Business
The Dutch Shipyard lifts the veil on 101-meter Yacht Moonrise. Currently in its final outfitting stages, Moonrise is a refined evolution of her predecessor, also called Moonrise, delivered in 2020. Allegedly one of the most admired yachts around the 100-meter mark. Moonrise is a great example of what can be achieved with a refit. Rather than constructing a new yacht, the shipyard looked to how they could improve the vessel by integrating new technology to achieve maritime innovation and engineering excellence.
As you would expect with the namesake Moonrise, the elegant hull characterized by sleek exterior lines and powerful vertical bow glows in grey and luminous snowy-white tones in the water.

Streamlined Superstructures And Improved Internet Communication
Nothing moves faster than technology, and it does not take long for owners to find that their tech systems are significantly out of date. The new version has eliminated the need to house VSAT and TRVO antennas in domes and instead seamlessly integrated Starlink satellite receivers into the yacht's superstructure. Now, not only has this improved communication and streaming capabilities, but it also preserves the superyacht's aesthetic.

Adapted Layout With Spacious Sundecks
The new layout maximizes the external spaces, with extended exterior decks and a swim platform. Considerations have been made based on the owner's lifestyle and optimized areas that are hotspots on the yacht. The yacht also features an exclusive owner's deck and a private cinema on the bridge deck. The mast is also now taller for greater speed and efficiency.
The sophisticated interior designs have been designed by Rémi Tessier and the exterior lines by Feadship's in-house naval architect Studio De Voogt.
